02 · The boats
The two boats: Almaram and Lola
Which one suits you depends on how many you are and how long you stay.
Almaram — The wooden gulet
- Five cabins, ten guests, one bathroom per cabin.
- Wooden hull, teak deck, mahogany below.
- Air conditioning throughout.
Lola — The second boat
- She sails the same routes, with her own cabins and deck.
- Dark hull, white superstructure, light wood inside.
- Larger groups take both boats.
03 · On board
Your own cabin and bathroom, and a cook on board
Every cabin has its own bathroom and its own air conditioning.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are cooked on board by the crew.

06 · The skipper
The skipper was born on one of the seven islands
Marcello Taranto is from Alicudi, raised on his father's fishing boat.
He bought his first gulet with his own savings: today there are two.
No sailing licence and no experience needed: the crew handles the boat.

What happens in bad weather?
The route changes and the boat goes where the sea is calm.
